Product Overview

A conventional polyol for flexible foam production

SEP-560L is a general-purpose, nominal 3000 molecular-weight homopolymer polyether triol. It is designed for flexible slabstock polyurethane foam and is listed for use in mattress and furniture applications.

The published product sheet describes SEP-560L as BHT-free and suitable for processing on common foam machinery. Actual foam density, hardness and physical performance depend on the complete formulation, processing conditions and production equipment.

Trimline Zhejiang Jade Chemicals reviews each enquiry against the required application, technical limits, volume and destination before confirming the available material and commercial terms.

Typical Applications

Made for conventional flexible slabstock foam

SEP-560L should be evaluated as part of the complete polyurethane formulation and confirmed through production trials.

01

Slabstock Foam

Used as a base polyol in the continuous or batch production of conventional flexible polyurethane foam blocks.

02

Mattress Foam

Suitable for formulations used to produce flexible foam for mattress cores, comfort layers and related bedding components.

03

Furniture Cushioning

Used in flexible foam intended for sofas, chairs, upholstered furniture and general comfort cushioning.

04

General Padding

Applicable to selected padding, quilting and cushioning products where conventional flexible foam is specified.

Before You Order

Confirm the material against your foam formulation

Polyol selection affects processing behaviour and final foam performance. Hydroxyl value, viscosity, water, acidity and colour should be checked against the formulation and current technical requirements.

Share your existing specification or a recent approved COA with the enquiry. Our team can then confirm the available documentation for the exact material being offered.

Discuss Your Requirement

Formulation Fit

Confirm the polyol grade, isocyanate system, additives and target foam properties.

Technical Limits

Review hydroxyl value, viscosity, water content, acid number, pH and colour.

Current Documents

Request the applicable TDS, SDS and batch COA before production use.

Packaging & Delivery

State the required quantity, destination and preferred shipment arrangement.

Storage & Handling

Keep the material dry and follow the current SDS

Polyether polyols should be handled using suitable workplace controls and personal protective equipment. Avoid direct eye or skin contact and prevent unnecessary exposure to vapour or mist generated during processing.

  • Keep containers tightly closed and protect the material from moisture and direct light.
  • Use suitable gloves and eye protection, with adequate ventilation for the handling method.
  • Keep containers clean and prevent contamination by water or incompatible materials.
  • Follow the supplier SDS for storage, spill response, fire precautions and disposal.

This page provides general commercial information and does not replace the product-specific SDS, workplace risk assessment or formulation guidance.

Product Questions

Polyol SEP560L MW3000 FAQs

Review the grade documentation and formulation requirements before confirming production use.

What is Polyol SEP560L MW3000?

SEP-560L is a general-purpose homopolymer polyether triol with a nominal molecular weight of 3000. It is intended for conventional flexible slabstock polyurethane foam.

What is the main application of SEP-560L?

Its principal application is flexible slabstock foam used in mattresses, furniture and other cushioning products.

Does MW3000 define every product property?

No. Molecular weight is only one product characteristic. Hydroxyl value, viscosity, water content and other limits must also match the approved specification.

Should a production trial be completed?

Yes. Suitability should be confirmed through formulation review and controlled production trials because foam performance depends on the full chemical system and processing conditions.

Which documents should be requested?

Request the current TDS and SDS together with a lot-specific COA for the material being supplied.
